Newly arrived soldiers to the LongKnife Squadron participated in a casualty exfil training exercise as the culminating event to their Combat Life Saver certification.
The Troopers attended a 3-day CLS certification training before heading to the field. They were tasked with assessing and treating a casualty before transporting them to a Blackhawk helicopter for extraction. The Troopers then boarded the aircraft. See a quick snapshot of our training below.
Our own Chaplain Cole got some awesome footage from our Squadron’s last PT competition. Congratulations to Comanche Troop for taking home the win!

In addition to passing along the torch of Tomahawk Troop Commander, CPT Horace H. Peek V. was also inducted to the Honorable Order of St. George as a Distinguished Knight in the Bronze Order.
Drawing upon the rich history behind St. George, the order was established in 1986 by the US Cavalry & Armor Association in order to recognize the very best tankers and cavalrymen among its members.
We wish him the best of luck as he transitions to the civilian world!
Prepared and Loyal!
