Update as of 0730:
AAFES Bro Express will close at 7 p.m. today to conduct annual inventory. Forsyth Express will remain open until 11 p.m. to take care of our military families.

UPDATE
Fort Riley will conduct operations with limited services and minimal manning today, Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Patient appointments with Irwin Army Community Hospital will be rescheduled.

CDCs and manned fitness centers will be closed.

Grant and Parker Access Control Points will be closed.

The Main Post Exchange will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., including the food court. The BRO Express and Forsyth Express shopettes will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. All other shopettes and AAFES facilities will be closed.

The Fort Riley Commissary will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For today's Victory Foundation day the Soldiers of Hammer Company visited Grodziec Castle. The castle was built in 1155 and has been used in many wars over the years. Legend has it that a spirit made coins come from a statue to pay for the loyal peasants who could not afford their taxes.

Hey look, more construction...

UPDATE: Because Parker Access Control Point is normally closed on weekends and federal holidays, the actual last day of operation will be September 3rd. We apologize for the confusion.

Construction. Frustrating but necessary to continue to improve Fort Riley.

Parker Access Control Point will be closed beginning September 7th through November for road repairs. Parker Road is limited to local traffic. Detour is Four Corners or Trooper, both open 24/7.

We will keep you updated on the construction timeline.
