Malawi Government through the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs has been able to secure funding commitments from the World Bank for the following Initiatives & Projects:
- US$185 million for the Social Support for Resilient Livelihood program.
-US$ 30million for Africa Centre of Excellence.
-US$ 60million for the restoration of the Kapichira power station.
-US$ 134million for the Shire valley transformation project.

Current commitments from the World Bank have just exceeded over US $400 million for this financial year, conveying significant support and confidence in the development of Malawi.

MALAWI GOVERNMENT Sign's Loan Agreement For The Dowa Town Water Supply Project and Grant Agreement For Feasibility Studies For Mzuzu Airport, with bi-lateral sovereign fund, OPEC FUND for INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
