Karonga MPUC EWER youth training:

Paramount Chief Kyungu encouraging the youth to network across their youth networks be aware of what other youths are doing within the district. He also told the youth to love one another, no need to hate one another over differences as we are all heading to the same place under the soil, so hate is unnecessary.

We have entered the weekend full of energy and inspiration drawn from the 5-Day bootcamp we had in the just ended week in Mzuzu.

During the bootcamp, we tackled several important topics for our community and country, including youth leadership, Agenda 2063, national development plans, policies, and meaningful youth participation.

We also explored how young people can make their voices heard and play a vital role in shaping Malawi's future.

We believe this is a big step towards youth empowerment and their contribution to national development.

Giant thanks to all the participants and supporters who made this bootcamp possible.

Mzuzu youths, you're amazing. Wishing you a great weekend and continued success.

DAY 4 OF YOUTH CONNEKT MZUZU BOOT CAMP!

We're wrapping up Day 4 of the Youth Connekt Mzuzu Boot Camp, and what an incredible journey it's been! Over the past four days, we've delved into pressing issues affecting young people in their daily lives.

Some of the key topics we've explored include:

Youth Participation in Leadership: We've discussed the importance of amplifying youth voices in decision-making processes and creating opportunities for young people to take on leadership roles.

Meaningful Participation: We've emphasized the need for young people to be actively engaged in initiatives that impact their lives, ensuring their contributions are valued and respected.

Agenda 2063: We've examined the African Union's vision for a prosperous, peaceful, and integrated Africa by 2063. We've explored what this means for Malawi's development and how young people can contribute to achieving this vision.

Malawi Investment Plan (MIP1): We've analyzed the government's strategic plan for achieving sustainable economic growth and development. We've discussed ways young people can participate in and benefit from these initiatives.

Our Role as Young People: Throughout the boot camp, we've emphasized the critical role young people play in driving Malawi's development. We've encouraged participants to take ownership of their futures, become active citizens, and contribute to creating positive change in their communities.

Day 1of5 of the Mzuzu Youth bootcamp in Leadership and Politics was a success with so much energy and fun!!!!!! What a better way to learn more about leadership through games! These games weren't for fun only but taught the youths present about characteristics of good leadership and teamwork. Koma achinyamata awa anaipatsa lero!!!! Youth tchweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Day 4/5 of the youth in leadership and politics boot camp in Blantyre, today has been more sharing of ideas, experiences and deep rooted discussions among these youths in Blantyre who had more to share and inspiring plans for the youth engagement in politics and leadership! Today's lessons were led by NICE Public Trust Malawi's Program officer for Blantyre in collaboration with University of Malawi - UNIMA
