ATTENTION TO AWARD

On Monday 26th Aug, the CO of HMAS Brisbane, CMDR Dobson, welcomed Commodore, Captain Stefanik onboard to present LCDR Kurt Phelps, XO of HMAS Brisbane with an End Of Tour award for his time at Destroyer Squadron THREE ONE. LCDR Phelps served as the Combat Systems Officer from October 2020 to January 2023 through the
Personnel Exchange Program, facilitating multiple AEGIS events and leading the flawless ex*****on of PACIFIC DRAGON 2022 Ballistic Missile Defense exercise.

HMAS Brisbane is currently deployed in support of Interchangeability with the United States Navy, which facilitates increasing Australian and United States alliances by building upon our maintenance and training opportunities.

⚡️Flashback Friday⚡️ DESRON 31 personnel, along with Pacific Partnership 2023 sailors joined at the trail on a team building hike to the top of Makapu‘u Point.

Pictured you’ll spot Pacific Partnership 2023’s Mission Commander, Deputy Commander Captain Dransfield (Royal Navy UK), as well as Captain Beadsmoore and Flight Lieutenant Crawford from the Royal New Zealand Navy and Air Force.

Pacific Partnership 2023 , now in its 18th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific.
