Looking to increase membership. If you are interested in becoming a member of The West Creek Cemetery Association please let us know in the comments below or message us. We meet a few times a year, depending on what is happening at that time of year or
If you would rather help out with clean ups and placing flags and wreathes, we welcome everyone and usually it does not take long and the work is easy

Let us know if you are interested

Also, we hope to begin soon taking out the rest of the trees and the fence to get the rest of the trees in between
We also will need volunteers to rake and prune some small trees and bushes throughout the cemetery

We have a few other things that we are going to tackle too
If you are interested in helping out with these jobs just let us know If you can spare just an hour or whatever We would appreciate it

Also, if the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts service projects that they are looking for, why not consider The West Creek Cemetery? Learn about the history of this historical cemetery. The founder of Ocean County is buried here as well as Civil Soldiers and more interesting facts. Assist in placing flags for Memorial Day and Wreathes Across America as well as assisting in clean ups to keep it looking nice and be safe for us all. And also to respect all of those who are buried here. Learn how cemeteries tell the history of a town and how the Census helps identify families ancestors and tells a lot about the town and the many occupations from years that passed. Maybe you would like to help map out the cemetery as a special project.

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE PERSON OR PERSONS THAT CLEANED UP A TREE THAT FELL AT THE CEMETERY A FEW WEEKS AGO IN THAT BAD WINDSTORM. THEY CUT IT DOWN THE REST OF THE WAY, CLEANED IT UP AND HAULED IT OFF. THANK YOU SO MUCH. WE APPRECIATE YOUR TIME AND EFFORTS. YOUR SUPPORT, HELP AND THOUGHTFULNESS IS SO KIND AND CONSIDERATE.

REMINDER!!

Cemetery Cleanup and Removal of Christmas Decor will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025. If you own a grave site in our cemetery and you would like to keep your items or just want to remove them yourself, please do so before March 8th so that they do not get thrown away if you want them.

Thank you to everyone who donated or purchased a hoagie for our 2025 Hoagie Fundraiser! Your support is very appreciated and helps to maintain the West Creek Cemetery! Thank you once again for another successful year! 🙂

Hello everyone,

Due to the concern of weather conditions, the cleanup events scheduled for Sat, Dec 7 and Sat, Dec 14 have been canceled. We plan to reschedule during the warmer months. Thank you to everyone who reached out and planned to help out. We appreciate you all! WE WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW IN THE SPRING. WE APPRECIATE THOSE OF YOU THAT EXPRESSED YOUR CONCERN DUE TO THE TEMPERATURES ONLY IN THE 30’S AND YES WE AGREE. WE DO NOT WANT TO WORK IN THOSE TEMPERATURES OUTSIDE EITHER.

GRAVE BLANKET PICKUP IS TODAY, SAT NOV 30, 2024 FROM 2-4PM IN THE BACK PART OF THE METHODIST CHURCH IN WEST CREEK. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID, CASH OR CHECK IS DUE UPON PICKUP. GRAVE BLANKETS ARE $25/each.
