Hope Gala Host Committee member Caitlin Clark was first drawn to Calvary Women's Services because of our commitment to supporting domestic violence survivors. Her love of cooking made our Meal Volunteer program a natural fit.

This year, Caitlin is raising funds for the 2025 Hope Gala through a personal fundraising page where she shares her story, and why Calvary is meaningful to her. Her goal is $4,000 and she is already on her way!

Did you know that half of the women experiencing homelessness in DC are homeless due to domestic violence?

March marks the second anniversary of Calvary's New Foundations transitional housing program, a lifeline dedicated to helping domestic violence survivors escape homelessness and find stability. Since its launch in March 2023, New Foundations has provided a safe space and renewed hope to women transforming their lives.

In honor of Women's History Month, Calvary Women's Services would like to recognize some of the incredible women leaders who volunteer their time and their talents to support our mission.

Thank you to Traci Mitchell, Emmy Award-winning journalist, for serving as co-chair of our Hope Gala Host Committee. Traci and her fellow committee members are working hard to secure sponsors, silent auction items, and more to help Calvary raise vital funds to support women overcoming domestic violence and homelessness in 2025.

Tonia Wellons is being recognized for her leadership and dedication to fostering stronger communities. As the President & CEO of GWCF, she has been instrumental in driving efforts to support economic mobility, racial equity, and community development.
