Our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of our fallen hero.

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Officer LaCarsha Garrett after her courageous battle with illness. A dedicated 16-year veteran of MPD, Officer Garrett most recently served with distinction as a member of the Seventh District’s Administrative Staff. Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Bring the whole family for a day of music, games, fun, and candy at our Trunk or Treat! We welcome children to come dressed in their favorite costumes (kid-friendly, of course) and enjoy all the festivities.

This event promises to be a fantastic time for the entire community, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. So come out, have fun, and let’s make some great memories together!

The Sixth District outreach team assisted JC Nalle Elementary School on a field trip to Cox Farm. The students got to experience all of the fall festivities. The students, MPD officers, cadets, and school staff had a wonderful time. This event was made possible with the support of the Iron Star Foundation.
