AmeriCorps is excited to share the 2025 National Service Reports that highlight how AmeriCorps Works for America across all 50 states.

The annual report reflects the impact of national service in each state and shows how 200,000 AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers utilized federal investments to make positive impacts in their communities over the past year.

AmeriCorps is dedicated to serving our nation’s heroes. A recent return-on-investment study shows that AmeriCorps’ veteran support programs return up to $17.50 for every federal dollar invested.

Each year, thousands of AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers in these programs help veterans improve their academic outcomes, graduation rates, and postsecondary career success through peer mentoring, resources, and referrals to veterans in college.

We are also proud of the 13,000 veterans who serve in AmeriCorps programs to support their fellow veterans. for veterans.

AmeriCorps is committed to enhancing the physical and mental well-being of Americans. Through the AmeriCorps Seniors Senior Companion Program, volunteers support independent living for older Americans. They help prevent isolation and allow individuals to stay in their homes longer, providing transportation, delivering meals, assisting with shopping, and more. More than 310,000 older adults and people with disabilities have received support from AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers.

AmeriCorps proudly supports nearly 245,000 veterans and military families through programs that connect them with employment opportunities, housing, and benefits they have earned during their military service.

AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serve the veteran community in several ways including:

📌 Assisting military members transitioning out of uniform.
📌 Building capacity at veteran-serving organizations.
