CLIP: Today on National Protect Public Media Day, we joined advocates from ACLU, Free Press, workers and truth-seekers to rally at NPR HQ to defend freedom of the press and freedom of dissent against the tyrannical Trump regime.

Elon Musk and Project 2025 have called for gutting public media; Trump's new FCC chief Brenden Carr has opened an investigation into NPR and @PBS; and Sen. Mike Lee and Rep. Claudia Tenney have introduced the Defund NPR Act.
"Let’s be real - they aren’t going after public media to save taxpayer dollars. Their goal is to undermine independent journalism, to silence criticism, and obstruct the free flow of information.
"We are here to tell Trump that a Free Press is a Non-Negotiable. It is a fundamental pillar of a free and open society. Without a free, independent press, we lose the foundation of democracy itself."
