Mr. Jose Manuel G. Romualdez နှင့် အမေရိကန်-အာဆီယံ စီးပွားရေးကောင်စီ ဝါရင့် ဒုတိယ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ Mr. Marc Mealy တို့က ပူးတွဲသဘာပတိများအဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ အခမ်းအနားသို့ အမေရိကန် နိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ တီမောလက်စ်တေ သံအမတ်ကြီးက လေ့လာသူ အဖြစ်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး အမေရိကန်-အာဆီယံ စီးပွားရေးကောင်စီ အဖွဲ့ဝင် အမေရိကန် စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းများမှ အမှုဆောင်အရာရှိချုပ်များ၊ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

အဆိုပါ နှီးနှောဖလှယ်ပွဲတွင် တက်ရောက်လာကြသူများက ရေရှည်တည်တံ့ပြီး ခံနိုင်စွမ်းရှိသော ကုန်ထုတ်လုပ်မှု ထောက်ပံ့ရေးကွင်းဆက်ကဏ္ဍ၊ ဆိုင်ဘာလုံခြုံရေး၊ အခြေခံအဆောက်အအုံဆိုင်ရာ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးကဏ္ဍများ၊ ဒေသတွင်း ပင်လယ်ရေကြောင်းပို့ဆောင်ရေး၊ ကုန်စည်ပို့ဆောင်ရေးစသည်တို့နှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများ၌ လုပ်ငန်းများ ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်မည့် အလားအလာများကို အမြင်ချင်း ဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Chargé d’ Affaires of Myanmar Embassy Attends a Roundtable and Networking Event Jointly Organized by ACW and U.S.- ASEAN Business Council

U Thet Win, Chargé d’ Affaires a.i./Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Washington, D.C., along with ASEAN Ambassadors, Chargés d’Affaires and representatives from other ASEAN Embassies, attended a roundtable and networking event with private sector jointly organized by the ASEAN Committee in Washington (ACW) and U.S. – ASEAN Business Council (USABC), at the Embassy of the Philippines in Washington, D.C. on the afternoon of 16 September 2024. The roundtable was co-chaired by Mr. Jose Manuel G. Romualdez, Ambassador of the Philippines to the United States, and Mr. Marc Mealy, Senior Vice President of the USABC. The Ambassador of Timor-Leste to the United States was present as an observer, and members of the U.S. – ASEAN Business Council, CEOs and representatives from U.S. businesses also attended the event.

At the Roundtable, the participants exchanged views on prospects of business operations in ASEAN Member States in the areas of the sustainable and resilient supply-chain sector, cybersecurity, infrastructure development, regional maritime transport, logistics, etc.

Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, at 0900 hrs on 27 August 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the further consolidation of the existing Pauk-Phaw relations and implementation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, China’s consistent support towards peace and sustainable social-economy development for Myanmar. Both sides also exchanged views on closer collaboration in regional and international arena, especially ASEAN and the United Nations.

Announcement to Travelers Entering Myanmar through International Airports, Seaports and through Cross Border Points of Entry (POEs) to submit Health Declaration Form
(22 August 2024)

Following the declaration of Mpox as Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 14 August 2024, all travelers entering Myanmar through International Airports, Seaports and Cross Border Points of Entry (POEs) are required to submit duly-filled Health Declaration Form issued by the Ministry of Health of Myanmar, upon arrival to Myanmar, with effect from 22 August 2024.

အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလေဆိပ်များ၊ ဆိပ်ကမ်းနှင့် နယ်စပ်ဝင်/ထွက်ပေါက်များမှတစ်ဆင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ ဝင်ရောက်မည့် ခရီးသွားများ ကျန်းမာရေးကြေညာချက်ပုံစံ ဖြည့်စွက်ရမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကြေညာချက်

U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received Mr. Jaime Nadal Roig, Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to Myanmar at 11:00 hrs. on 21 August 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters pertaining to the existing cooperation between the Government of Myanmar and UNFPA, and future activities of UNFPA in Myanmar.

Also present at the meeting were the senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး ဦးလွင်ဦးသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ ကုလသမဂ္ဂ ယာယီဌာနေညှိနှိုင်းရေးမှူးနှင့် လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ ယာယီညှိနှိုင်းရေးမှူးဖြစ်သူ Mr. Marcoluigi Corsi နှင့် ရန်ကုန်မြို့ရှိ ကုလသမဂ္ဂလူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ ညှိနှိုင်းရေးရုံး၏ အကြီးအကဲဖြစ်သူ Mr. Sajjad Mohammad Sajid တို့အား ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ ဩဂုတ်လ ၁၉ ရက်၊ ၁၁၀၀ နာရီတွင် နေပြည်တော်ရှိ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၌ လက်ခံတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့သည်။

ထိုသို့တွေ့ဆုံစဉ် မြန်မာအစိုးရနှင့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂအဖွဲ့အစည်းများအကြား လက်ရှိ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နေမှုများအပေါ် ဆွေးနွေးအမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြသည်။

အစည်းအဝေးသို့ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိကြီးများလည်း တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

(UN RC/HC a.i.), and Mr. Sajjad Mohammad Sajid, Head of Office of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Yangon at 1100 hrs on 19 August 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters related to the existing cooperation between the Government of Myanmar and the United Nations agencies.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs leaves for Thailand to attend Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting

Myanmar delegation led by U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs left for Thailand on 15 August 2024 to attend the 9th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Chiang Mai. The delegation was seen off at the Yangon International Airport by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Myanmar Mr. Mongkol Visitstump and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador- designate of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar paid a courtesy call and presented a copy of her letter of credence to H.E. U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at 1000 hrs on 13 August 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs congratulated Ms. Ma Jia on her appointment as the Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar and they cordially discussed the matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing “Pauk-Phaw” relations, the acceleration of Myanmar-China bilateral relations, and the mutually beneficial cooperation in both regional and international arena, especially in ASEAN and United Nations.
