We urgently need donations for refugee families.
Last week, the new administration ended funding for refugees, including 500 arrivals to St. Louis.
This will be devastating for families resettling in St. Louis, who rely on funding during their first few months to pay rent, food and medical costs.
Please donate today. Refugees deserve the chance at a new life they have been promised.

Every Wednesday at the Institute we celebrate the value of diversity—including within our own incredible staff! Marcella Martinez is one of the smiling faces you’ll see when you first walk through our doors. To her, multiculturalism means uplifting and celebrating culture.

Imagine moving to a brand new country without a car or a driver’s license. Many new arrivals rely on our public transportation systems to get to and from work, appointments and more. We’re proud to parter with @stlmetro and Bi-State Development to show refugees and immigrants how to take advantage of transport options in our city 🏙️
At the International Institute, we provide services to help immigrants create a bright future in our city.
Nisveta Fezjic, our Development Manager, came to St. Louis from Bosnia as a child.
She’s experienced first-hand how the Internationak Insitute ensures immigrants access resources and learn new skills to succeed.
Your donation supports services that provide opportunities to immigrants and refugees starting a new life in our city.
We are experiencing an ongoing increase of refugees and immigrants to our area—we have welcomed a record 515 new arrivals to St. Louis since the start of the year.
Providing first-touch services is more important than ever. From locating safe and affordable housing to empowering new arrivals to learn English and find jobs, the International Institute is dedicated to creating a solid foundation for immigrants and refugees in our community.
This holiday season, we're celebrating all the support from our incredible community!
If you're in a giving mood, be sure to stop by West County Center before January 1, where you can grab a gift for refugee families in a special vending machine – the Giving Machine.
Your donation can directly purchase a microwave, a space heater, a set of pots and pans or new bedding. Make sure you also explore the many other items available to support other organizations.
Meet us at the ✨Community Bazaar ✨ this afternoon and every other Friday! We’ve got the @stlmetromarket bus on site for grocery shopping, free meals from @opfoodsearch, live music, and food from a new vendor every week.
We’ll see you there from 12-3!
We ❤️ @stlmetromarket! Come see them this Friday at the International Institute from 2-4! 🍎🧀🍞🥒🥕
