At Friends of Kids with Cancer, we place hope in the hands of our patients by providing expressive art therapy. Art therapy is offered in three St. Louis pediatric cancer treatment centers to support all patients, either bedside or outpatient, at no cost.

"I painted this to express how anxiety can seem," Layla wrote. "When I am anxious, I draw or listen to music until I am ready to talk about it and face it. I was young when I was in treatment. I know what I had to go through was tough and left a scar from surgery."

This week, we displayed gifts for all ages in a pop-up holiday store for our patients to shop. Hospital partners invited children out of their rooms to shop the store for their family members, at no cost, thanks to our generous donors.
Our Holiday Store program allows children to participate in the holiday shopping experience to gift their loved ones something special to celebrate the season. A big thanks to our volunteers who set up the shop and wrapped presents for our friends.
