Our power was undeniable throughout the Capitol Building last Tuesday as a final count of NEARLY 100 Missourians provided facts and shared stories that flew in the face of HJR 54’s bogus, anti-abortion rhetoric and the arguments of Rep. Stinnett and her anti-democracy colleagues.
AND while we held it down together in the hearing room, nearly TWO THOUSAND Missourians submitted opposition testimony online.
We witnessed the courage and tenacity that was kindled early last year with the kick-off of the Yes on 3 campaign becoming a new, emboldened resolve to protect our newly established constitutional right to abortion rights and reproductive freedom.
