What do we know about family resource centers?

Although many factors are at play, poverty is the most consistent and strongest predictors of child welfare involvement, largely due to families living in poverty being overreported to CPS for neglect. Place-based programs, such as family resource centers, can be an effective way of addressing the challenges that can lead to involvement with a child protection agency.
