Our Weekend Food Program provides a weekend's worth of nutritious, easy to prepare food weekly for any Broadview-Thomson student who needs it. The program relies on volunteers to pick up food from the Ballard Food Bank every Thursday and distribute it to student lockers/classrooms every Friday. For....

Teachers were happy this morning! Thank you to the many parents who volunteered to set-up or donate delicious sweet and savory treats for our BT staff to enjoy, as our small way of letting them know how much we appreciate them. We've got a special crew at Broadview-Thomson!

Día de Mu***os celebration this Friday from 2:30 - 3:30 PM in the cafeteria--all families and students are invited!

Come and celebrate with us by eating Pan de Mu**to (Mexican Pastry) and hot chocolate! We will have some fun activities for the kids!

Also, thank you to Ms. Kiser (1st grade teacher) for creating this beautiful ofrenda that was on display last week to honor loved ones who have passed away. There were lots of 'oohs and aahs' over the many thoughtful details, and we all enjoyed learning more about this special tradition.

Please join the Broadview Thomson PTA for their next meeting this Thursday 10/24 at 6pm. Food and Childcare will be provided. We’ll also have translation in Spanish and Tigrinya.

The meeting will kick off with a Principal’s Report from our very own Mr. Blish. The PTA would love to have as many parents, caregivers and teachers as possible come listen and join in on all the exciting things our PTA is supporting our school community with this year!

Día de Mu***os celebrations are coming up! If you'd like a photo of a deceased loved one included in the ofrenda, don't forget to bring a copy of it to school by TOMORROW (Oct. 22nd). You can give it to your teacher who will pass it on to Ms. Nadia Kiser. ¡Gracias!

On Tuesday, October 22nd from 11 AM - 9 PM at RoundTable Pizza in Shoreline Place will donate 20% of all receipts back to the Broadview Thomson PTA. All you have to do is show the image below to your cashier during checkout. So easy! We hope to see everyone there.
