🎭✨ Celebrating Culture & History Through the Arts! 🎨🪶
Fifth graders at Wedgwood Elementary brought Seattle’s history to life through Native song, dance, art, and spoken word in an incredible showcase!
Their performance, created in partnership with Bayfest through Creative Advantage, honored the rich traditions of Northwestern Native American tribes and deepened students' connections to the land they call home.
With the guidance of Bayfest teaching artists, students explored storytelling, movement, and language—turning their learning into a powerful artistic expression. This immersive experience reminds us of the importance of respecting, understanding, and celebrating Indigenous cultures.
