Through the Be Someone campaign, we’ve shared stories of those making a difference—like this story of a generous donor, whose support helps create a safer, brighter future for children. Alongside law enforcement, social workers, therapists, and community members, donors play a vital role in ensuring every child has access to safety, healing, and justice. But this mission doesn’t stop here. Be Someone is more than a campaign; it’s a movement. The impact of Children's Advocacy Centers is ongoing, and so is the need for action. Every child deserves safety, love, and a voice.

Be someone today, tomorrow, and every day after that. 🙌💙

Every blanket is a message: you are not alone.

At NPCAC, children receive a blanket when they come to us. This blanket represents their voice has been heard. They are in a place that is here to serve them. Each blanket provided to these children is donated and made by generous volunteers throughout our community. This video, part of our Be Someone campaign, shows how these blankets are a tangible symbol of hope and healing.

Child abuse often hides in silence. But there's a place where children can break that silence – the forensic interview room. This video, part of our Be Someone campaign, highlights how forensic interviewers, like NPCAC’s very own Shannon and Jessica, are specially trained to ask structured and developmentally appropriate questions, creating a comfortable and safe space for disclosure. These interviews are designed to elicit information that either corroborates or refutes allegations of abuse.

As part of our Be Someone campaign, we are sharing the stories of those involved in supporting children impacted by abuse, which can include media professionals. Due to the confidentiality of the child and family, news media often focuses more on the perpetrators than the victims. But these aren't just statistics. They are real children, living in our communities, needing healing and hope.

Northern Plains Children's Advocacy Center (NPCAC) is here to provide a safe space and support for these children. Join us in amplifying their voices and supporting our work.

March is all about highlighting the incredible individuals who make a difference in the lives of children impacted by abuse through our Be Someone Awareness Campaign.

Northern Plains Children's Advocacy Center (NPCAC) is dedicated to providing support and healing for children impacted by abuse in our region. It is a sad reality that 1 in 10 children will experience sexual abuse by the time they turn 18. We are sharing insights that highlight the impact of CACs, and how collective support empowers centers like NPCAC to make a real difference.
