Minot Parks

Minot Parks Mission:
To provide a broad-based opportunity for the citizens of Minot and its visitors to enhance their quality of life through its parks and recreation

The Minot Park District is the unit of the Minot, North Dakota municipal government responsible for maintaining city parks. The District is managed by a board of five directors elected by city voters to four year terms. The district also serves as the local forestry service, trimming and planting trees across the city. Through its efforts, Minot became a Tree City USA in 1992.

Fun Zone is back from its holiday break! Come escape the cold with us from 9:00am - noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays!
🔸 Fun Zone is for children 10 & under.
🔸 Children and adults will enter the facility and play at their own risk.
🔸 Children must be supervised at all times. They are not to be dropped off. There must be at least one adult present for every 4 children
🔸 This is a free program.
Fun Zone ends March 27th, 2025.

Perkett & Corbett warming houses will be closed today (12/28). Roosevelt and Polaris will be open as scheduled.

The past few days the XC trail crew has been out grooming at Oak Park and at Moose Park.

Snow cover is thin with grass and leaves showing through on some short sections of the tracks, but the snow we received this morning will help and the trail crew will be out adding snow to those places where necessary.

As a reminder, the thaw-freeze weather we have been having can result in icy conditions. Just be aware and ski with caution and control.

At Moose Park there has been quite a bit of off-road vehicular traffic taking place so when making the trail we have avoided those areas when possible. Consequently, the trails are shorter than typical. So far we have a series of 5 shorter trails at the Moose, each are about 1/3 of a mile in distance and all should be enjoyable to ski.

All warming houses + rentals open this weekend!

Sledding is in season! ❄️
Souris Valley Golf Course tube rentals are now open weekends this winter as weather allows.
Snow tubes are $5 to rent and a parent/ guardian must sign a waiver to rent tubes.

If you would like to bring your own sleds to the sledding hill it is open daily during daylight hours at no cost.
