3d Marine Littoral Regiment

The 3d Marine Littoral Regiment is the inaugural MLR of the United States Marine Corps

The 3d Marine Littoral Regiment is the inaugural MLR of the United States Marine Corps based at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, falling under the 3rd Marine Division and the III Marine Expeditionary Force. As designed, the 3d MLR is comprised of a headquarters element and three subordinate commands. These subordinate commands are the 3rd Littoral Anti-Air Battalion, the Combat Logistics Battalion 3; and the Littoral Combat Team 3.

Christmas came early this year! 🎁

During a ceremony on , 3d MLR officially received the Navy/Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System from Marine Corps Systems Command. 3d LCT’s Medium-Range Missile Battery will be the first Marine unit to field the system. The NMESIS enhances our sea denial capabilities and lethality.

The squad competition was designed to test the Marines’ physical fitness levels, improve tactical proficiency, and build unit cohesion.

Congrats to the AIMC Detachment Hawaii Class 04-24!

Two of from 3d LCT won Gung Ho and Honor Graduate during the course, Sgt Poulin and Cpl Adams, both from Ares Co. The two are returning to their unit having gained the knowledge, experience, and leadership skills as expected of an advanced infantry Marine. The seven-week course is meant to develop Marines as leaders, by challenging them physically and mentally, in a classroom and austere environment so that they are better equipped to perform in stressful and demanding situations.
