March marks National Reading Month, a great time to celebrate the joy of reading and highlight the importance of literacy in our lives. This month, we encourage everyone to explore the world of books and storytelling. 📖✨ Here are some books that the keiki in our programs have been enjoying.

Aloha ‘Ia ‘O Wai‘anae is just around the corner!
Join us on March 13 (Thursday), from 4–7 pm at Wai‘anae Elementary for an action-packed, carnival-style community celebration!

Join us for:
•Live music by Landon McNamara (2025 Eddie Aikau Winner)
• Food boxes for the first 300 families & 1,000 hot meals
• Inflatable sports games and family-friendly fun
• Community resource booths and vendor support
• Free shave ice and cotton candy

This event is a perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors, celebrate our vibrant Wai‘anae Coast community, and gear up for Spring Break. Bring your whole ʻohana and get ready for an evening of food, music, fun, and fellowship.

This summer, the Bookmobile visited six schools in the Waipahu/Pearl City Complex. 🚎📚 The Bookmobile provided free books, read-aloud sessions, and activities for the students. It was wonderful to see both new and familiar faces, and we were touched by the sweet thank-you messages we received. 😊
