Strengthening Alliances: A Visit from Ambassador Manabu Miyagawa
The 10th Support Group and US Army Garrison Okinawa teams were honored to host Ambassador Manabu Miyagawa, Ambassador in Charge of Okinawan Affairs, for an engaging and productive visit with Col. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, observed on the third Monday of January each year, marks the birthday of the civil rights leader and activist.
The theme this year, “A Day On, Not a Day Off,” encourages individuals to dedicate the day to community service in remembrance of Dr. King’s remarkable legacy and to instill his principles of unity and equity throughout the world.
On this day of national community service, we honor Dr. King's legacy of compassion, justice and equality for all. We see King's messages of non-discrimination and respect embedded in our society and in our Army.

Welcoming partners!
The 7th Engineer Dive Detachment with the 84th Engineer Battalion under the 130th Engineer Brigade, Hawaii along with U.S. Coast Guard DVs with the Regional Dive Locker Pacific are on U.S. Army Garrison - Kwajalein Atoll. The dive teams will be working together to refine their skills while also seeing to some of the aging marine area infrastructure throughout Kwajalein Atoll.
