Iowa MENTOR will host a virtual training session on the mentoring mindset on Tuesday, February 25, from 4:30-6:00pm. This training is for any individual interested in becoming a mentor or is currently serving as a mentor through a certified mentoring program. This is a perfect "first step training" where you explore critical attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that serve as the foundation of being an effective mentor. Participants should come prepared to learn and interact with others and will receive a certificate of completion. The mentoring mindset training is meant to engage mentors in the journey of self-awareness and supportive engagement.
