Larry Cate and Dan Mathias shared an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, reflected in young Larry’s lawn-cutting service that relied on a rowboat for transport before he was even driving age.
The two friends shared a bond through high school, college and beyond, starting a fire sprinkler company in their hometown, being “best man” in each other’s weddings and becoming pillars in their community.
