Kavod's Intergenerational Program Coordinator, Elizabeth Stanbro, exemplifies the importance of art education for all ages with her role at Kavod and her artwork on display in the Lieutenant Governor’s office as part of the Creative Capitol: The Art of Teaching Artistry group show, sponsored by Think 360 Arts.

Elizabeth shared, “How wonderful to have this response to the arts and teaching art from our state government.”

The Lieutenant Governor expressed her gratitude for having the art exhibited, noting how the lush colors in Elizabeth’s work truly stood out.

Yesterday, we came together to celebrate Mardi Gras with a lively band and plenty of dancing after a festive meal.

Today, we marked Ash Wednesday with a meaningful service, embracing the start of the Lenten season.

The ceremony was Jan. 27, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, at Kavod Senior Life.
