🗳️Presiding Officers' Training Scheduled for February 20-21 in the District 🗳️

To ensure smooth conduct of upcoming municipal elections, Presiding Officers' Training will be held on February 20 and 21 at Government Girls College, Sector 14 in two shifts – morning and evening.

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Shri Ajay Kumar conducted the randomization process for presiding officers on today and directed the completion of training for election officials within the scheduled dates.

🌟 16th Tribal Youth Exchange Program Begins! 🌟

The 16th Tribal Youth Exchange Program kicked off today in the district, fostering national integration and empowering tribal youth for development. Organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the program was inaugurated by District Youth Officer Naveen Gulia, who shared insights into the initiative. The event will run until February 21.

🔹 200 tribal youth from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh, accompanied by 20 es**rt officers from CRPF & ITBP, are participating.
🔹 The program features educational sessions on skill development, confidence building, entrepreneurship, social media & cybersecurity, health awareness, financial literacy, and government schemes.
🔹 Special activities include a Delhi tour, an interaction with CRPF, and a visit to the Hero Company production unit.

This initiative is a step towards integrating tribal youth into the mainstream, enhancing their skills, and fostering a sense of national unity.

16th Tribal Youth Exchange Program: Preparations Underway!

A meeting was held today under the chairmanship of CTM Shri Kunwar Aditya Vikram to ensure the smooth ex*****on of the 16th Tribal Youth Exchange Program, scheduled from February 16 to 21 at Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gurugram.

Organized by District Administration Gurugram, Nehru Yuva Kendra Gurugram, and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India, the program will welcome 200 tribal youths from Jharkhand, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh, along with 20 es**rt officers.

✅ Accommodation & Food: SCERT to ensure proper arrangements.
✅ Transport: RTA to facilitate visits to key locations.
✅ Healthcare: Health dept. to deploy doctors & an ambulance daily.
✅ Security: Police dept. to ensure safety, especially for female participants.
✅ Cultural & Educational Exposure: Visit to Model Sanskriti School & Delhi’s historic sites.

The program will introduce tribal youth to government schemes, skill development initiatives, and nation-building efforts, along with visits to CRPF camps, industrial sites, and iconic landmarks.

Awareness is Key to Prevent Cyber Fraud – ADC Sh. Hitesh Kumar

🔹 District Safer Internet Day Celebrated at Swatantrata Senani Zila Parishad (John) Hall

Under the directives of the Ministry of Electronics and IT, the District Information & Technology Department organized Safer Internet Day to raise awareness about cyber safety. The event educated self-help groups, Common Service Center representatives, and village secretaries on secure internet practices.

✅ ADC Sh. Hitesh Kumar emphasized the need for vigilance, stating that cyber fraud can target anyone. He urged attendees to spread cyber safety awareness.
✅ District Informatics Officer Sh. Vibhu Kapur advised caution while using digital platforms like Facebook & WhatsApp.
✅ SI Mohit Kumar (Cyber Cell, Police Department) shared essential safety tips and promoted the cyber helpline 1930 for reporting frauds.

📢 Theme: "Together for a Better Internet" – promoting responsible and secure internet usage. The Government of India has also launched a nationwide awareness campaign under this theme.

🔹 Around 175 people attended, including ADIO Naveen Ahlawat, DSEO Vinod Verma, DM CSC Vikash Punia, and other officials.

📢 Order under Section 163 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023

To ensure public safety and maintain peace during the upcoming General Elections 2025 (scheduled for March 2, 2025) and the Bye-Election for the vacant seat of President, Municipal Council Sohna, the District Magistrate, Gurugram, has issued an order for all licensed firearm holders in District Gurugram to deposit their fi****ms and ammunition at their respective Police Stations/Gun Houses against proper receipts.

🔹 This order applies to all arms license holders in:
✔️ Municipal Corporations: Gurugram & Manesar
✔️ Municipal Council Areas: Pataudi Jatauli Mandi & Sohna
✔️ Municipal Committee Area: Farrukhnagar

🔹 Fi****ms must be deposited until March 12, 2025, or till the completion of the election process.

🔹 Exemptions: This order does not apply to police personnel and public servants on duty.

🔹 Strict Action for Non-Compliance: Violation of this order is punishable under Section 223 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

In the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, an MoU was signed between Power Grid Corporation of India Limited & Haryana State CSR Trust at PWD Rest House, Gurugram. Through this MoU, a 100-bed girls’ hostel and a 40-room teaching block will be constructed at Government Women’s College in Sector 14, Gurugram. Additionally, various IT, medical, and musical equipment will be provided under the initiative. The estimated cost of this project is ₹20.37 crore. The aim of this CSR initiative is to provide better educational facilities for girls in and around Gurugram and promote women's empowerment. This women-focused CSR effort will support young women in pursuing higher education and building professional careers.
