Edmonton's Food Bank Every month we serve over 40,000 individuals and provide 450,000 meals and snacks through 350 agencies, schools, churches, and food depots.

When individuals call the Food Bank ( YEGFoodBank ) looking for assistance, they are asked questions about their situation such as their name, address, family size, source of income, and what has happened that has left them short of money and food. During this process, the individual may be provided with information on other helping agencies or groups such as low-cost housing, collective kitchens,

free meals, free or low-cost household goods or clothing, a food co-op, employment information (resumes, access to fax and phone), Health For Two (pre-natal health connection), emergency shelters and immigrant services.

Steve, our good friend from OSYS Old Strathcona Youth Society "the co-op" stopped by the warehouse to pick up snacks for the youth he serves.

Many people are familiar with our hamper programs, but did you know we also support over 380 partner agencies?

The Loblaw Companies Limited Spring Food Drive at all Real Canadian Superstore, NoFrills, Wholesale Club and Loblaws City Market locations ends today! Last year the campaign raised $34,264 and 8,271 kg of food for Edmonton's Food Bank!

Please make a difference by donating at the checkout or by placing non-perishable food items in Food Bank boxes at the stores mentioned above. Thank YOU for helping us help others!

We had some friendly faces from Cameron Development Corp visit us! Some team members helped sort donations from our generous industry partners and community members like YOU, while others worked hard building hampers.

Their efforts help ensure that the hampers reach food depots across the city, making it easier for our clients to access food close to home. Thank YOU!

Thanks to our friends at Waffle Bird for hosting a WAFFLE EATING COMPETITION to raise money for the Food Bank! Waffle Bird donated $1 for every waffle eaten and raised $450!!!

Our friends at the The Edmonton Council of Muslim Communities (ECMC) have raised funds for the Food Bank during Ramadan over the past six years through their Dawn to Dusk campaign.

Dawn to Dusk 2025 has been a phenomenal success and this year they raised a record $102,000!!!! We are so very humbled by this incredible gesture from the ECMC. This wonderful donation will help us continue our important work in the community.

Little Wolf is hosting their next vegan dinner on March 31st—a delicious three-course meal designed by the infinitely talented Shaun Hicks! You can choose to enjoy your dinner with barrel-fermented beer tasting from The Monolith.

Tickets are available via https://www.littlewolfrestaurant.com, with a portion of proceeds going to Edmonton's Food Bank. Tickets are $49 for a three course meal, with beer tastings available as an add-on.

Our bottles are always pouring at Little Wolf, so even if you can't make it to this dinner, you should stop by for a beer and some delicious food.

We recently welcomed friends from the Edmonton Korean Lions Clubs International to the Food Bank!

They brought 670 kg of donations and then volunteered in our warehouse! AMAZING community spirit! Thank YOU for your wonderful support!

Our friends from Sea Change Brewing Co. dropped by this week with a $7512 donation from the holiday season!

Per SCBC tradition, they raised money during Christmas Beeracle by selling $1 4-packs of beer with a monetary donation to the Food Bank. They also offered sleigh rides to the taproom through the holidays and sent those funds our way too.

Since 2020, SCBC have raised almost $40,000 for the Food Bank! RAISE A BEER TO THAT! Thank YOU!

DID YOU KNOW that we accept toiletries? We get requests for soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrushes/toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream/razors, feminine hygiene products and many others. We are often in need of personal hygiene products which, upon request, we add to client hampers.
