Today, March 31, is Transgender Day of Visibility. We honor and celebrate the strength, beauty, and resilience of trans and nonbinary people everywhere. Given the current climate for trans people, it is even more important that we take time to understand the contributions and sacrifices that trans people have made and continue to make in our community. From everyone at GMCW, we stand in solidarity with our transgender community. We see you, we hear you, and we love you!

This Sunday, March 30 at 6:00pm, join us for a special performance of 'Key of T‬' - an interactive music/theater‬‭ performance featuring genderqueer/trans‬ singer Ari Agha (they/them), Mackenzie Lyn Marr (she/her) on piano, and everyone who shows‬ up! Directed by Robert Farid Karimi,‬‭ 'Key of T‬‭' shares‬‭ Ari’s experience of singing voice transition‬ with testosterone to reveal under-explored possibilities of voice for everyone, regardless of‬ gender identity.‬‭ 'Key of T‬'‭ reminds us of our vocal‬‭ range and genderful freedom. Join us to hear‬
‭ yourself anew and be a part of the choir!‬ Free and open to the public. 6:00pm at St. Thomas' Parish, 1517 18th Street NW.

Thanks MD Theatre Guide for the great review of our 'Passports' concert! "That’s the thing about GMCW’s performances, they are spectacularly enjoyable because the group members all look to be having the time of their lives, and that is where entertainment becomes authentically personal."
