The Friends of the Modesto Library’s annual membership meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Salida Regional Library. This is an informative and important meeting about what’s going on now and what’s ahead for FOML.

We are also delighted to welcome as our guest speaker Paula Treick DeBoard, who will talk to us about all things literary – from owning an independent bookstore to her experiences as a published author and more.

We hope to see you at the FOML Annual Meeting, March 5, from 4 to 6 p.m., Salida Regional Library, 4835 Sisk Road, Salida.

with Friends had a great meeting at the Salida Library Tuesday night! In fact, the largest one they've had in their almost four years--28 people. Thanks to the generosity of those attending, the group was able to donate over 40 hats, some scarves, and even two handknit sweaters to on Valentine's Day. Now that's really sharing the love!

Monthly classes resume tomorrow. Join us for two hours of knitting, crochet and camaraderie.

Are you a beginner who doesn't know a crochet hook from a knitting needle? Just show up with a good attitude and we'll get you started.

Do you already know the basics? Bring a project to show off and another to work on--if you have some.

We'll display the hats that have been donated to the Winter Warmth Drive. I think you'll be impressed and inspired.
