Attention Harris County Drivers: Be sure to plan ahead before heading to one of our Tax Offices to get your vehicle registration. Even though You no longer need a safety inspection, but most vehicles in Harris County must pass an emissions test to be registered. Once your car has passed the emissions test, head to any vehicle renewal location in Harris County to get your vehicle registration.
