📢 Upcoming Public Hearing Notice for Senate District 12 Residents
🗓️ Date: Wednesday, January 29, 2025 Time: 1:00 PM Location: Capitol Auditorium & Video Conference

We invite you to participate in the joint hearing on SB534, relating to the Hawaii Community Development Authority. This important legislation proposes to repeal the ban on residential development in Kakaako Makai and to increase the building height limit to 400 feet.

🌐 This move comes as part of efforts to generate income while addressing environmental, capacity, and flight-path concerns amidst updates to the Kakaako Makai community-based plan.

Residents are encouraged to attend and voice their opinions. For those unable to attend in person, a video conference option will be available.

I am pleased to announce the release of capital improvement funds, secured through the efforts of our legislative team and the support of Governor Josh Green.

These funds are earmarked for vital enhancements at Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor on Kaua‘i, Maunalua Bay Launch Ramp on O‘ahu, and Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor in District 12 on O‘ahu.
