Leaders from 515th CEC-A were pinned with the Fifth Engineer Castles in recognition of their certification as Task Force Engineers by Fightin' Fifth! 5th Engineer Battalion. The Fifth Castle is unique to the Battalion as the oldest in the Regiment.

“IRON SHARPENS IRON.”

515th CEC-A Leadership attended the Task Force Engineer Academy put on by Fightin' Fifth! 5th Engineer Battalion, and taught a few classes of their own. The Outlaws then went to the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence to instruct BOLC Lieutenants on TF Engineering, Platoon Leader Time, and answer general questions.

Opportunities like these allow the Engineer Regiment to stay at the cutting edge by sharing lessons learned with future leaders.

GREEN EYES. BLACK RIFLES.

The Outlaws conducted a Live-Fire Exercise (LFX), including night fires under NODs. 515 CEC-A inserted through an Air Assault with help from B/2-1GSAB. These exercises increase lethality by practicing shooting, moving, and communicating in a complex, austere environment.

The Outlaws are postured to engage and destroy the enemies of the United States in any environment.

As the 515th CEC-A continues its transition from Sapper to Combat Engineer Company - Armored Configuration, the Coat of Arms has been redesigned and motto changed. The past is in honored memory, the future comes next. Onwards and upwards Outlaws. "Let's Ride!"

Operation Victory Wellness Morning thanks to 1st Sustainment Brigade, 1st Infantry Division Holistic Health and Fitness’s OT team! We enjoyed a morning of team building with interactive classes. Concluding with a 500/1000 pound lift challenge and a cookout to celebrate 1 year of the 515th CEC-A standing up at Fort Riley.
